A 70-year-old woman was rushed to hospital on Thursday afternoon after being hit by a truck in the community of Acadia.
On May 10, Scott Shepherd was struck when a drunk driver's vehicle jumped the curb and slammed into him as he walked down the sidewalk.
The accused, a 26-year-old man from Drumbo, Ont., was already facing several charges in connection with the April 24 incident, police said.
Montreal police said the incident happened at around 4 p.m. at the intersection of St-Ambroise Street and Square Sir-Georges-Étienne-Cartier.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Yonge Street and 16th Avenue at 7:34 a.m. for reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle.
A collision involving a tanker truck and pedestrian happened around 8 a.m. at the intersection of Bayfield Road (Hwy. 21) and Blake Street East, police said.
The section of Harvey Avenue (Highway 97) was closed for several hours as police investigated.
